Blake McNair made a 3-pointer on Harding's first possession of the second half, and the Bisons never trailed again. The lead grew to as many as 14 points three times, the third coming on a Reggie Anthony layup with 7:26 left.

An Anthony 3-pointer with 3:39 remaining gave the Bisons a 74-64 lead, but an 8-0 Tech run over the next minute-and-a-half trimmed Harding's lead to two points. Anthony hit another key shot on a driving layup, and McNair made three free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
