Harding Men's Soccer Falls to No. 25 Rogers State

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Midfielder Jake Simpson scored three goals and assisted on another to lead 25th-ranked Rogers State to a 6-0 victory over Harding on a rainy day in Great American Conference action.

Rogers State remained undefeated in five home games and improved to 7-2-1 overall with its fourth straight win. The Hillcats are 4-2-0 in conference.

Harding, shut out for just the second time this season, lost for the first time in four road games and dropped to 5-3-1 overall. The Bisons moved to 4-2-0 in GAC games.

Rogers State scored three goals before a 30-minute lightning delay and another before halftime when play resumed. The Hillcats added two more goals in the second half.

Harding returns home Saturday to host Northeastern State at 3 p.m.
