Harding's Ryan Camras Begins Regional Tournament Thursday

SEARCY, Ark. – The NCAA Central/Midwest Regional Advisory Committee selected Harding freshman golfer Ryan Camras as one of four individuals to compete alongside 10 qualifying teams at the Central/Midwest Regional May 9-11.

The location of the tournament will be very familiar to Camras. A native of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Camras will play the regional at his home course, Hot Springs Country Club.

Harding's team qualified for the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional each of the last two seasons. Mason Banger was the last individual qualifier, tying for 51st at the 2016 regional.

Camras had four top-10 finishes in 11 events this season and had a team-best 73.66 stroke average, the fourth best scoring average in program history. Camras became only the third Harding players with 10 or more rounds of par or less in a season. His 79 birdies this season are fourth most all-time.
