BETHANY, Okla. – Southern Nazarene's Jhonathan Dunn, the Great American Conference's leading scorer, had 28 points and led the Crimson Storm to a 96-50 victory over Harding Saturday at The Sawyer Center.
Southern Nazarene won its sixth straight home game and improved to 11-5 overall and 5-3 in conference. Harding fell to 6-8 overall and 1-7 in GAC games.
Southern Nazarene scored 12 straight points after Harding opened the game with a bucket. The Crimson Storm shot 62% in the first half and made 11 3-pointers to lead 51-21 at the break. Dunn had 22 points for Southern Nazarene at halftime, and Micah Speight had 12.
Southern Nazarene shot 57%, made 17 3-pointers and had a lead as large as 85-35 in the second half.
Romio Harvey led Harding with 16 points. Speight had 18 points, and Ashton Charles added 16 for Southern Nazarene.
Harding returns to action Thursday against Arkansas Tech in Russellville.
