URANT, Okla. – Harding junior Emir Ahmedic had 18 points and 13 rebounds for his second double-double of the season, but Southeastern Oklahoma connected on 16 3-pointers and defeated the Bisons 108-70 Saturday in Great American Conference action at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
The win extended Southeastern's home winning streak to 16 games, and the Savage Storm improved to 16-4 overall and 10-3 in the GAC. Harding fell to 7-12 overall and 2-11 in conference.
Southeastern Oklahoma shot 62% in the first half and made 12 of 17 3-point attempts to lead Harding 60-33 at the break.
Southeastern's Kevin Buckingham led all scorers with 32 points. He was 10 of 14 from the field, including a perfect 4 of 4 from 3-point range. He also made all eight free-throw attempts.
Ahmedic was 8 of 17 from the field, and his rebound total was just one off his career high.
Tyler Hutchieson scored 16 points, his third straight game in double figures. Over his last five, Hutchieson is averaging 13.4 points.
Romio Harvey added 12 points and led Harding with five assists.
Kellen Manek had 20 points for Southeastern, and Adam Dworsky had 18 points and 10 assists.
Harding is back in action Saturday against East Central in Ada, Oklahoma.
