The Harding men's soccer team gave up two second half goals on Thursday and fell to Northeastern State 2-0. Harding falls to 1-6-2 overall and 1-4-2 in conference. Northeastern State improves to 7-7 overall and 5-3 in conference.
The Riverhawks took the lead in the 57
th minute when Scott Woods scored his first goal of the season in the top right of the goal with his left foot. The Riverhawks added on a second goal in the 72
nd minute when Flynn Semmerling scored his fifth goal of the season.
Northeastern State outshot the Bisons 10-7, with a 3-1 advantage in shots on goal.
Nick Foederer recorded one save. The Harding offense was led by
Tyler Sterbenz who had two shots, and
Tyler Guentz who had one shot on goal.

Jack Savage,
Adrian Renteria, and
Manny Fadel played the full 90 minutes for the Bisons.
The Bisons will play next on Saturday October 23 at home against Southern Nazarene beginning at 11 a.m.
