The Harding men's soccer played their first game in nearly three weeks and fell on the road at Northeastern St., 2-0 on Thursday night in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in their first conference match of the season.
The scoring started in 25
th minute when Jason Rivera scored his fourth goal of the season from Scott Wood. Flynn Semmerling scored the second goal of the match for the Riverhawks in the 60
th minute. It was Semmerling's third goal of the season.
The Bisons had nine shots in the match with only four on goal.
Stefano Silva had four total shots with one on goal in 74 minutes of action.
Donnell Bowes,
Adrian Renteria, and
Manny Fadel all played the full 90 minutes for the Bisons.
Nick Foederer was in goal for the first half and gave up one goal while recording one save.
Jared Nitz played the second half and gave up one goal but had four saves in his 45 minutes.
The Bisons will return to action on Saturday, September 25 when they travel to Bethany, Oklahoma to take on Southern Nazarene in a Great American Conference match, kicking off at 1:00 p.m.
