The Harding men's golf team shot an 18-over 306 in Round 1 at the Arkansas Collegiate in El Dorado and is currently third. Play was suspended before the conclusion of Round 2 due to darkness. Only four of the 13 teams completed both rounds on Monday. Henderson State sits atop the leaderboard.
Jake Croshaw opened the day with a 2-over 74 in Round 1 and was at 3-over 70 through 17 holes in Round 2 and is tied for sixth. Croshaw has the second most birdies in the tournament with seven, five of which came in his opening round.
Sam Tandy is 11
th after shooting 4-over 75 in Round 1 and 4-over 71 through 17 holes.
Manuel Cue Vargas is tied for 12
th at 8-over 152. Vargas shot a 5-over 77 and a 3-over 75 in the first two rounds and sank 22 pars on the day.
Leo Maciejek is tied for 37
th after an 8-over 80 in Round 1. Maciejek finished 16 holes in Round 2 and is currently at 8-over 71.
Finlay Cummings, last week's tournament winner, shot a 12-over 84 in Round 1 and was 10-over 74 through 16 holes in Round 2 and tied for 56
th.
Wilf Rush was the lone Bison individual golfer and finished the day at 14-over 158 after a 10-over 82 in Round 1 and a 4-over 76 in Round 2.
The Bisons will complete Round 2 and Round 3 on Tuesday, teeing off at 8 a.m.
