Harding Women's Track Wins Three Events in Kansas

WICHITA, Kansas – Harding women's indoor track and field turned in three event victories and three NCAA provisional marks Saturday at the 2022 OBU/GAC Last Chance Indoor.

Senior Anne-Noelle Clerima won the 400 meters, freshman Kiera Blankinship won the high jump and sophomore Sierra White won the pole vault.

Clerima won in 56.71 seconds, but her time converted to a provisional time of 55.97 since the event was on a flat track. Clerima is ranked 24th in Division II in the 400.

Blankinship recorded her first career provisional mark by clearing 1.67 meters (5-05.75). She is ranked 43rd in Division II in the high jump.

White won by clearing 3.76 meters (12-4). Her season high is 4.03 meters, and she is ranked 14th in Division II in the pole vault.

Junior Sarah Gautreaux set a PR by clearing 3.56 meters (11-8) in the pole vault. She placed third.

Harding had three second-place finishes. Brylan Williams placed second in the high jump (1.62m, 5-3.75). Cara Mason was second in the shot put (13.33m, 43-9), and Cooper Monn was second in the weight throw (14.56m, 47-9.25).

The Lady Bisons also had a pair of third-place finishes with Mariah Miller third in the triple jump (11.52m, 37-9.50) and Monn was third in the shot put (13.28m, 43-7).

The NCAA will release its list of athletes who qualified for NCAA Indoor Nationals this week.
