SEARCY, Ark. – The Harding women's track and field team delivered a statement performance this weekend across two states, capturing seven individual event titles and officially putting the nation on notice. The Bisons and Lady Bisons split their roster between the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Mississippi, and the Rhodes Invitational in Memphis, Tennessee, resulting in a new school record and nine NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks.
Tucker Shatters Long Jump Record
Sophomore Carly Tucker provided the headline of the weekend at the Ole Miss Classic. Competing in the long jump, Tucker soared to a mark of 5.97m (19-07.00). This performance officially broke the school record of 5.90m previously held by Jenna Akins (2022) and secured an NCAA provisional mark.
Tucker's versatility was on full display in Oxford, as she also claimed the individual title in the 400-meter hurdles (1:05.67) and placed fourth in the high jump.
