RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its 11th round of weekly track and field awards Tuesday, with Harding's Josie Parks and Carly Tucker sweeping the women's honors following a record-breaking weekend at the Ole Miss Classic.
The duo spearheaded a Lady Bison squad that made a massive national statement in Mississippi, combining for a school record and the fastest time in NCAA Division II.
GAC Track Athlete of the Week: Josie Parks
Sr. | Columbia, Tennessee Parks delivered a clinical performance in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing the finish line in 10:37.59. In addition to her record-breaking jump, she won the 400-meter hurdles and placed seventh in the 100-meter hurdles.
