RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Three Harding women's soccer players were named All-Great American Conference Wednesday in a release by the conference office. Whitney Thomas, Regan Thompson and Kim Barcenas were all named to the second-team.
Thomas, a sophomore forward from Benbrook, Texas, play in every game for Harding and had 13 starts. She led the team with five goals. It is her first All-GAC honor.
Thompson, a sophomore midfielder from Plano, Texas, played in 16 games and had 15 starts. She had one goal and two assists for Harding. It is her first All-GAC honor.
Barcenas, a junior defender form Carrolton, Texas, played in and started all 18 games for Harding. She had one assist and was instrumental in the Lady Bisons five shutouts. It is her second All-GAC honor. Barcenas was named second-team All-GAC last season.
