Kodie Winnings followed her great opening round on Tuesday with a 4-over 76 and placed second in the Natural State Golf Classic in Cabot, Arkansas. As a team, the Lady Bisons finished fourth after a 24-over 312 in Round 2, and finished the tournament at 56-over 632.
The runner-up finish for Winnings was only her second career top ten finish in her career and her first top five finish. Brenda Sanchez posted her first top ten finish of the season, and the seventh of her career, after an even 72 on Tuesday gave her a 7-over 151 for the tournament and a sixth place finish.
Pilar Martinez finished tied for 24th at 18-over 162 after shooting 11-over 83 in Round 2. Alicia Martinez climbed 11 spots on Tuesday with a 4-over 76 round put her at 19-over 163 to finish tied for 26th.
Madeleine Wilson shot a 9-over 81 and finished tied for 30th at 20-over 164. Ines Sanchez also finished 20-over 164 and tied for 30th. Brenley Meche shot a 27-over 171 and finished tied for 41st.
The Lady Bisons return to the course on March 12-14 when they head to Destin, Florida and compete in the Emerald Shores Classic at the Baytown Golf Club.
