Harding Men's Golf Selected Second in GAC Preseason Poll

SEARCY – Harding men's golf was selected second among nine teams in the Great American Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, released Tuesday by the conference office.

Harding, who tied for eighth place at the NCAA Division II national championship meet last season, will be under the direction of first-year head coach Travis Lauterbach. The Bisons were third at the 2023 GAC championship.

Harding returns two of its five golfers that competed at the national tournament. Returning is All-American Sam Tandy and senior Leo Maciejek.

The Bisons open the season on Sept. 11-12 at the GAC Preview, hosted by Southern Nazarene at Lake Hefner North Golf Course in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
