Northeastern State Shuts Out Harding Men's Soccer Team in 2-0 Victory

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State secured a 2-0 victory over the Harding men's soccer team in GAC/MIAA play, marking the first time this season that Harding was held without a goal.

Harding's overall record now stands at 3-4-1, with a conference record of 1-1-0. Northeastern State boasts a 3-1-2 overall record and a conference record of 1-0-0.

The scoring action unfolded with Northeastern State finding the net in the 28th minute, followed by a goal in the 76th minute during the second half to secure the win.

TEAM NOTES
•    This game marked the first time in the last eight matches, spanning from last season, that Harding failed to find the back of the net.
•    Both Harding and Northeastern State took 10 shots during the game, with Harding managing four shots on goal. This game marked the fifth occasion this season where Harding recorded 10 or more shots.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
•    Andrew Wagner, the lone Harding field player to play the full 90 minutes, completed his fifth 90-minute game of the season. Wagner currently ranks second on the team with 606 minutes played this season.
