Marshall's 24 Points Lead Harding Past Oklahoma Christian

SEARCY, Ark. — Rylie Marshall scored 24 points to lead Harding to a 98-87 victory over Oklahoma Christian on Saturday.
Marshall shot 9 of 15 from the field, including 3 of 7 from 3-point range. Sam Smith added 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, while Keyln McBride scored 16 points, making 4 of 6 3-pointers. McBride is shooting 56.7% from 3-point range this season, hitting 17 of 30. It was Marshall's third 20-point game in Harding's last four outings and Smith's first of the season.
Wesley Booker had 15 points and eight rebounds, and Stetson Smithson scored 10 for Harding (4-2).
Keyondre Young led Oklahoma Christian (3-2) with 23 points, hitting 5 of 7 3-pointers.
Harding shot 53% from the field and made 13 of 29 3-pointers. The Bisons led 48-46 at halftime and pulled away in the second half, shooting 65.4% from the field in the final 20 minutes.
Harding's lead reached as many as 16 points twice, the second time on a Smith dunk with 6:14 remaining.
The Bisons open Great American Conference play Thursday at Southwestern Oklahoma.
