Isbell Reaches Milestone as Harding Women Roll Past UAM 84-61

SEARCY, Ark. — Aubrey Isbell scored 14 points to surpass 1,000 career points, and Harding cruised past Arkansas-Monticello 84-61 in a Great American Conference women's basketball game Thursday.

Harding forced five turnovers in the first quarter and led 17-12. The Lady Bison extended their lead to 45-29 at halftime, thanks in part to a strong second quarter in which they shot 61% from the field and made 10-of-12 free throws.

Sage Hawley led Harding (6-2, 3-0 GAC) with 18 points and tied for the team lead with eight rebounds. Rory Geer added 15 points and eight rebounds, and Josie Williams scored 13 points.

Bailey Harris led UAM (5-4, 0-3 GAC) with 21 points, while Alindsey Long added 19 points off the bench.

Harding maintained its advantage in the second half, outscoring UAM 21-17 in the third quarter and 18-15 in the fourth. The Lady Bison forced 19 turnovers, converting them into 24 points, and dominated at the free-throw line, shooting 79% (22-of-28) compared to UAM's 58% (7-of-12).

The win marked Harding's 28th consecutive home victory, the longest active streak in NCAA II. The Lady Bison also extended their home winning streak over UAM to 17 games.

Harding travels to Henderson State on Saturday.
