Five Harding Women's Golfers Earn Prestigious All-American Scholar Honors

SEARCY – Five members of the Harding women's golf team recently received Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar recognition.

Sophomore Sydney Kincade, senior Alicia Martinez, senior Brenda Sanchez, junior Madeleine Wilson, and senior Kodie Winnings all met the qualifications with GPAs of 3.50 or higher and participation in at least half of the team's competitive rounds during the season.

Kincade, an exercise science major from Prosper, Texas, has a 3.89 GPA. She played in 21 of Harding's 24 rounds this season with a 77.62 stroke average.

Martinez, an international business major from Tarragona, Spain, has a 3.75 GPA. She played in 21 rounds with a team-best 77.52 stroke average. Martinez has now earned four WGCA All-American Scholar honors.

Sanchez, also an international business major from Celaya, Mexico, holds a 3.81 GPA. She played all 24 rounds with a 77.54 stroke average. Sanchez has also received four All-American Scholar honors.

Wilson, another international business major from Springdale, Arkansas, has a 3.89 GPA. She played 22 rounds with an 80.14 stroke average.

Winnings, a criminal justice major from Haltom City, Texas, has a 3.89 GPA. She played all 24 rounds and had a 78.13 stroke average. Winnings became the first Lady Bison to earn five All-American Scholar honors.

Harding has had at least four WGCA All-American Scholars every season since 2018.
