Second Half Struggles Sink Harding at Southeastern Oklahoma

DURANT, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma used a strong second-half performance to blow past Harding 94-58 in a Great American Conference men's basketball game Thursday night.

The Savage Storm trailed 36-35 at halftime but outscored the Bisons 59-22 in the second half, shooting 60.5% (23 of 38) over the final 20 minutes.

DJ Dill led Southeastern Oklahoma with 25 points, while Daniel Halldorsson recorded a triple-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists.

Josh Denton paced Harding with 20 points, his third 20-point game of the season. Wyatt Gilbert added 12 points and a team-best four assists.

The Bisons fell to 9-6 overall and 5-4 in the GAC, while Southeastern Oklahoma improved to 5-10 overall and 3-6 in conference, snapping a three-game home losing streak.

Harding will look to bounce back Saturday at East Central in Ada, Oklahoma.
