Women's Soccer by Scott Goode

Citty, Harris Headline Women's Soccer All-GAC Selections

SEARCY, Ark. — The Harding women's soccer program claimed two major individual honors and secured a program-record four First Team All-Conference selections as the Great American Conference (GAC) announced its 2025 postseason awards.

Junior defender Calle Citty (Searcy, Arkansas) was named the GAC Defensive Player of the Year, and Head Coach Greg Harris earned the GAC Coach of the Year award. This is the fourth time Harris has received the coaching honor (2013, 2015, 2024, 2025) and Citty is the second Lady Bison ever to earn the Defender of the Year title, following Melita Sutherland in 2015.

Citty anchored a defense that ranked among the best in the GAC. The junior also secured a spot on the All-GAC First Team.

The Harding Lady Bisons placed a conference-high four players on the All-GAC First Team:

  • Calle Citty (D, Jr., Searcy, Arkansas): GAC Defensive Player of the Year.

  • Kloey Fullerton (F, So., Searcy, Arkansas): Led the team in assists with seven and finished the season with 13 points (3 goals, 7 assists).

  • Whitney Thomas (M, Sr., Benbrook, Texas): Led the team in goals with five and also recorded three assists for 13 points.

  • Maysa Willis (GK, Jr., Bentonville, Arkansas): Played over 1,300 minutes in goal, posting a 1.07 goals-against average with a .771 save percentage.

Second Team and Honorable Mention

Harding added two players to the All-GAC Second Team and one to the Honorable Mention squad. Senior midfielder Regan Thompson (Plano, Texas) and sophomore defender Skylar Henley (Bedford, Texas) were both recognized on the Second Team. Freshman forward Mykala Ulrich (Dover, Florida) earned Honorable Mention status after tallying three goals in her debut season.

Academic Success

The Lady Bisons also saw 13 players earn a spot on the Great American Conference Women's Soccer Academic Honor Roll (sophomore or higher academically with a 3.50 GPA or higher).

Multiple Lady Bisons were recognized for both athletic and academic excellence, including First Team honorees Whitney Thomas and Maysa Willis, and Second Team honorees Regan Thompson and Skylar Henley. Other Harding players earning Academic Honor Roll distinction included Parker Barrow, Sami Berry, Lacie Cabana, Campbell Cox, Gabie Eddins, Eve Garrett, Kalyn Holeyfield, Kendall Jerkins, and Norah Neely.
