SEARCY, Ark. (AP) — Harding used a strong second-half performance to pull away from Southeastern Oklahoma, winning 95-74 on Saturday.
Wyatt Gilbert scored a career-high 19 points, and Keyln McBride added 17 for Harding (17-9, 13-7 GAC), which shot 57.6% from the field and 58.3% from 3-point range. Ornette Gaines also came off the bench to score a career-high 15 points, making 5-of-7 3-pointers.
The Bisons dominated the game's tempo, outscoring Southeastern Oklahoma 15-5 in fast-break points. They also capitalized on turnovers, converting them into 21 points, compared to Southeastern Oklahoma's 12.
In the paint, Harding held a 40-34 advantage, with 22 points coming in the second half. The Bisons' bench also made significant contributions, outscoring Southeastern Oklahoma's bench 51-26.
Chandler Dickinson led Southeastern Oklahoma (10-16, 8-12 GAC) with 14 points.
Harding led by as many as 30 points in the second half and never trailed after the opening minutes. The Bisons' strong performance secured their 13th conference win of the season.
