Harding's Sansom Breaks School Record, Earns All-America Honors in Pole Vault

INDIANAPOLIS — Harding junior Cadence Sansom broke the school's indoor pole vault record and earned Second Team All-America honors Thursday at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Sansom cleared 4.07 meters (13 feet, 4.25 inches) to finish 11th in the pole vault, eclipsing the previous Harding indoor record of 4.03 meters (13 feet, 3.5 inches) set by Sierra White at the 2023 indoor national meet.

Sansom joined White as Harding's All-American pole vaulters. White earned First Team All-America honors in 2022 and 2023.
