RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women's track & field athletes of the week for the opening week of the outdoor season. Ouachita Baptist's Belle Lindsey captured the track award and Harding's Carly Tucker secured the field honor.

At the Harding Multi, she earned an NCAA Provisional score and set a program record with a winning total of 4,600 points. She took first in the 100-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash. Her score ranks second in Division II. At the Hendrix Invitational, she won the 100-meter hurdles by setting school and facility records in a time of 14.43 seconds.

Tucker won the long jump at the Hendrix Invitational with a top effort of 5.83 meters. At the Harding Multi, she finished second with a score of 4,265 points. She won the long jump and the javelin events. She ranks fourth in Division II in the long jump and seventh in the heptathlon.
