Harding Women Boast Eight Event Victories at Harding Invitational

SEARCY, Ark. — The Harding women's track and field team shone in the pole vault event at the 20-team Harding Invitational on Saturday, with Cadence Sansom and Karyna Vehner both clearing NCAA provisional heights.

Sansom and Vehner tied for first place with a mark of 3.80 meters (12 feet, 5.5 inches), meeting the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard.

The Lady Bisons also claimed several event victories, including:

Leila Ngapout in the 100 meters (12.17 seconds)

Tetiana Kharashchuk in the 200 meters (24.73 seconds)

Jayden Bowman in the 400 meters (57.72 seconds)

Josie Parks in the 800 meters (2:19.86)

Dinah Winders in the 1500 meters (4:42.59)

Karyna Vehner in the triple jump (11.46 meters)

Rachel Millikan in the discus (43.05 meters)

Harding's 4x100 relay team, consisting of Leila Ngapout, Tetiana Kharashchuk, Kewes Gomes, and Jerlana Williams, also took first place with a time of 48.14 seconds.
