FORT SMITH, Ark. – The Harding men's golf team completed the second round of the Great American Conference Tournament on Tuesday at Hardscrabble Country Club and remains in third place. The Bisons posted a second-round team score of even-par 280, bringing their two-round total to 12-over 572.
Christian Lindgreen remains the top scorer for Harding with a second-round score of 1-under 69. He is in third places with his two-round total of 1-under 139. Lindgreen had four birdies in his first 11 holes in round two.
Jose Arzu carded his second straight 73 and is 18th at 6-over 146, tied with Dennis Staykov who moved up 18 spots to 18th place with a 2-under 68 and a 146 total. The other Harding scores in the second round were a 7-over 77 from Finlay Cummings, who is now 23rd at 8-over 148, and an even-par 70 from Jose Manuel Peralta. He moved up 12 places to 28th and is at 10-over 150.
Arkansas Tech took over the lead in the tournament, shooting 3-under 277 in round two and has a two-round score of even-par 280. Landon Lawson of Arkansas Tech remains the individual leader after a second-round 3-under 67, for a two-round total of 4-under 136.
The final round of the GAC Tournament will begin Wednesday at 8 a.m.
