RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Harding women's soccer team is the favorite to win the Great American Conference, according to the 2025 preseason coaches poll released Tuesday. The Lady Bisons received four first-place votes after finishing last season with their best regular season record since 2018 (6-4-2 in GAC play).

The team's success last season can be attributed to the strong core of returning players, including six 2024 All-GAC selections: Kloey Fullerton, Calle Citty, Skylar Henley, Maysa Willis, Whitney Thomas, and Regan Thompson. Fullerton (1 goal, 5 assists) and Thomas (3 goals, 1 assist) were key to the offense. Willis anchored the defense with five shutouts and a 1.00 goals-against average.

Harding opens the 2025 season at home, hosting Northeastern State on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 2 p.m.
