RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — The Great American Conference (GAC) announced its weekly awards for women's soccer, and Harding's Calle Citty has been named the GAC Defensive Player of the Week.
The junior from Searcy, Arkansas, played a crucial role in the Lady Bisons' successful 1-0-1 week, playing the full 180 minutes across both contests. In a 1-1 draw against Christian Brothers, the Harding defense allowed just seven shots on goal. The defense was even more dominant in a 2-1 victory over Rogers State, giving up only eight shots in total, with just three on goal.
Citty's impact wasn't limited to just defense; she also scored the first goal of the match in the 29th minute against Rogers State.
