EDMOND, Okla. – Officials have shortened the Oak Tree Invitational to 36 holes as the No. 26 Harding men's golf team prepares to open play Monday afternoon at Oak Tree Country Club.

Due to the threat of extreme cold temperatures on Tuesday, the tournament—originally scheduled for 54 holes—will now consist of two rounds. The opening round is set for a 1 p.m. shotgun start Monday, while Tuesday's second and final round remains scheduled for 8 a.m.

Harding, coming off a victory at the Shadow Valley Invitational, enters the week as one of the favorites in the Oklahoma Christian-hosted event. Head coach Samuel Tandy will lean on a veteran lineup as the Bisons look to build on their No. 3 regional ranking.

The Harding lineup features:

• Jose Arzu: The reigning GAC Golfer of the Week and individual winner at Shadow Valley.

• Jose Manuel Peralta: Ranked No. 54 nationally.

• Dennis Staykov: The Bisons' highest-ranked individual at No. 43 in Division II.

• Austin Bibb

• William Pulley

Junior Conner Geist will also be in the field competing as an individual.

While the full list of competing teams has not yet been released, the field is expected to be a key testing ground for Central Region programs. Oak Tree Country Club is widely considered one of the most challenging layouts in the region, often serving as a preview for postseason-level competition.
