SEARCY, Ark. – Following a dominant run to the MIAA/GAC South Division championship, the Harding men's tennis team has received significant recognition, placing three players on the First Team All-MIAA list, the conference announced Tuesday.
The Bisons (14-6, 5-0 GAC/MIAA) led the way with a deep roster of honorees, reflecting a season defined by consistency and high-level play.
First Team Selections
Senior Adrian Solorzano, junior Sebastian De Las Salas, and senior Cian Mikkelsen were all named to the First Team All-MIAA in singles. The trio served as the backbone of the Harding lineup, combining for 40 dual-match singles victories throughout the 2026 campaign.
In addition to their individual success, the tandem of Mikkelsen and Solorzano earned First Team All-MIAA honors in doubles. The pair anchored the Bisons' top flight, consistently facing the conference's toughest competition.
Honorable Mention
The Bisons' depth was further validated with two doubles teams earning Honorable Mention All-MIAA status. The pairing of Florian Gayme and Jan Alexander Has, who posted a 12-6 dual record together, were honored, as was the duo of Edoardo D'Arrigo and Sebastian De Las Salas.
Season Context
The postseason honors cap a successful regular season for Harding, which finished 5-0 in conference play. The team's ability to remain undefeated in the GAC/MIAA South Division earned them the No. 1 seed for the upcoming conference championship.
The league also recognized individual superlatives across the conference, naming Washburn's Pavlos Parson as the Player of the Year and Southern Arkansas' Jonas Sommer as the Freshman of the Year. Washburn's Kirby Roning was selected as the Coach of the Year.
Harding enters the conference tournament with significant momentum, having won 14 of their 20 matches this season and securing a spot in the national rankings throughout the spring.
