SEARCY, Ark. — Three members of the No. 20-ranked Harding men's golf team received postseason honors Monday, as junior Dennis Staykov, junior Jose Arzu, and senior Jose Manuel Peralta were named to the 2026 NCAA Division II PING All-Central Region Team.
The awards, selected and announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), cap off a historic season for the Bisons. This marks the first time in program history that Harding has placed three golfers on the All-Region team in a single season.
Staykov headlines the selections after an extraordinary individual campaign. The Sofia, Bulgaria, native is currently ranked 17th nationally and first in the Central Region in the latest Scoreboard by Clippd rankings. Staykov, who won his second career GAC individual championship and was named the conference's Player of the Year, finished tied for fourth at the NCAA Central/Midwest Regional last week.
Arzu earned his first career All-Region selection following a highly consistent junior year. Arzu is ranked 65th nationally and seventh in the Central Region. He wrapped up his season with a tie for 21st at the NCAA Regional and a tie for fourth at the GAC Championships.
Peralta rounds out the trio, securing All-Region honors for the second consecutive season. The senior from Madrid, Spain, is ranked 83rd nationally and 10th in the Central Region. Peralta becomes just the second player in Harding history to earn multiple PING All-Region selections, joining former Bison and current head coach Sam Tandy (2023, 2024).
Prior to this year, Harding had never seen more than two players earn the honor in the same season. The Bisons previously had single selections in 2017 (Alex Williamson), 2018 (Mason Banger), 2024 (Sam Tandy), and 2025 (Peralta), with a pair of selections in 2023 (Jake Croshaw and Sam Tandy).
A total of 12 players from the Central Region were honored.
