Six Lady Bisons Named CSC Track and Field Academic All-District

AUSTIN, Texas — Six student-athletes from the Harding women's cross-country and track and field teams were named to the 2025–26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Track & Field/Cross-Country Team.

Seniors Josie Parks, Ally Cheek, Cadence Sansom, Kaia Bieker, and Dinah Winders and sophomore Carly Tucker, earned the prestigious honor recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, on the course, and in the classroom.

The Honorees

  • Josie Parks (Senior | Columbia, Tenn.) — Parks capped off an exceptional senior campaign on the track, advancing to the national finals in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships to earn Second Team All-America honors. She graduated in May with BS in exercise science and a 3.90 GPA.

  • Ally Cheek (Senior | Sachse, Texas) — Cheek delivered a historic performance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, clearing 1.72m (5-07.75) in the high jump to tie for fourth place and earn First Team All-America honors—the first Lady Bison ever to achieve First Team outdoor All-America status in the event. Cheek is an art major with a 3.58 GPA.

  • Cadence Sansom (Senior | Lago Vista, Texas) — A standout pole vaulter, Sansom collected Second Team All-America honors for the second consecutive outdoor season after placing 10th at the national championships. She holds the Harding indoor and outdoor school records in the vault. Sansom graduated in May with a BS in criminal justice and a 3.89 GPA.

  • Kaia Bieker (Senior | Harlan, Iowa) — Bieker provided key middle-distance depth for the Lady Bisons throughout the indoor and outdoor campaigns, setting personal bests in the 800-meter run (2:11.67) and competing as a crucial leg on Harding's relay squads. Bieker is a graduate student in Harding's strength and conditioning program and as a perfect 4.00 GPA.

  • Dinah Winders (Senior | Mansfield, Tenn.) — A distance leader across both cross-country and track, Winders scored double-digit conference points at the GAC Outdoor Championships and clocked a career-best 4:36.72 in the 1,500-meter run this spring. She graduate in May with a BBA in accounting and a 4.00 GPA.

  • Carly Tucker (Sophomore | Bullard, Texas) — Tucker enjoyed a record-breaking sophomore campaign, shattering Harding's long-standing indoor (5.79m) and outdoor (5.97m) school records in the long jump while placing third overall in the heptathlon at the GAC Outdoor Championships. Tucker is a history major with a 3.55 GPA.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, and rank among the top performers regionally or nationally in their respective individual events or cross country competitions.
