Lady Bison Soccer Takes on Belhaven on Friday

SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team takes a break from conference action Friday as they host Belhaven at 5 p.m., at the Harding soccer field. The Lady Bisons head into the match with a 4-6-1 record.

Belhaven is located in Jackson, Miss., and is a NAIA member of the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Blazers are 1-6-1 on the season. They have played two Gulf South Conference teams season; Belhaven lost to Christian Brothers 4-1 and tied Delta State 3-3. Belhaven holds the upper hand in the series, leading 3-0. The Lady Bisons fell to the Blazers 3-0 last season in Jackson.

Harding is led by freshman forward Adriana Lucar who has four goals and three assists. Fellow forward Paola Eusse isn't far behind her with three goals and two assists. Eight different Lady Bisons have scored this season.

Junior midfielder Krista Brizeno leads Belhaven with four goals and two assists. Junior forwards Christin Kaim and MaryBeth Weber each have three goals on the season for the Blazers.
