CONWAY, Ark. - Playing its first match in six days, the Harding women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Hendrix on Thursday. The Lady Bisons improved to 5-1 on the season.

Fabiola Wisnesky and Ling Chan teamed at No. 1 doubles to earn their first victory as a due, 8-6 over Caitlin Stevens and Arden Brazzeal. Ellie Hammons and Chelsea Hunt improved to 2-1 as a team with an 8-0 win at No. 2, and Callie Huey and Katherine Golik evened their record at 1-1 with an 8-2 victory at No. 3.

Ling won her third match of the season at No. 1 with a three-set victory over Stevens. Huey moved her singles mark to 3-1 with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 2. Hunt won her team-leading fifth singles match with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of French at No. 3. Lola Pardo, Harding's active leader with 43 career singles wins, collected another with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4. Golik moved to 3-1 in singles play with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5, and Hammons remained undefeated in singles at 4-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6.

Harding's next action is Friday in Conway vs. John Brown.
