SEARCY, Ark. – The Harding women's tennis program excelled both on the court and in the classroom during the 2025-26 season, earning the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team distinction, the organization announced Tuesday. In addition, six Lady Bisons were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
To capture the All-Academic Team award, programs must maintain a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.00 scale. The Lady Bisons easily surpassed that benchmark, combining for a stellar 3.59 team GPA for the current academic year. Harding was one of just 95 Division II women's tennis programs nationwide to earn the honor.
Individually, student-athletes must achieve a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the current academic year to be recognized as an ITA Scholar-Athlete. Six Lady Bisons met the requirement, led by freshmen Brooke Coffman and Paula Rega, who both recorded perfect 4.00 GPAs.
They were joined by senior Natalia Alvarez (3.65), GAC Player of the Year Karli Roux (3.68), Mia Hosking (3.69), and Sofia Sarmiento Ruiz (3.72). A total of 649 Division II women's student-athletes received the individual academic honor this year.
