CONWAY, Ark. - The Harding women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday 8-1 to 18th-ranked Northeastern State. The teams played the match at Hendrix College.

Harding's lone point in the match came at No. 4 singles, where freshman Callie Huey of Tulsa, Okla., defeated Ivana Belejova 1-6, 6-3, 13-11. The victory moved Huey to 2-1 in singles this season.

The Lady Bisons' next match is Thursday at Hendrix.
