FORT SMITH, Ark. - The Harding men's tennis team concluded the 2009-10 regular season Tuesday with an 8-1 loss to Arkansas-Fort Smith. With the defeat, Harding ends the regular season 14-6 overall.

Harding's lone point came at No. 2 singles, where senior Marco Ruiz won in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6. He improved to 7-3 in singles play this season and collected his 37th career singles victory.

Harding's next action will come at the Gulf South Conference Tournament on Saturday, April 17. The Bisons are the No. 3 seed from the West Division and will meet West Florida, the No. 2 seed from the East Division. The match at O'Connor Tennis Center in Montgomery, Ala., will begin at 11 a.m.
