SEARCY – The Harding men's soccer team plays the first of two non-conference home games Friday against Southwestern Christian before returning to Gulf South Conference action next week. The Bisons also host Williams Baptist in non-conference action next Tuesday. Both games will be broadcast live on HardingSports.com.
GAME NOTES
* Harding enters the game 3-9-1 overall and have not won in their last seven outings. The Bisons last victory came on Sept. 16 at Delta State in Cleveland, Miss. Harding's last home victory was on Sept. 9 vs. Ouachita Baptist.
* Friday's game is the first of four straight home games for the Bisons.
* Harding is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to West Florida on Sunday in Pensacola. Harding's goal came on a penalty kick in the 19th minute by senior Connor Galloway. It was Galloway's first goal of the season and his 14th career goal, which ties him with Brian Day (2001-03) for fifth on Harding's career list.
* Southwestern Christian is a member of the NAIA Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference located in Bethany, Okla. The Eagles enter the game 4-6-3 overall and are coming off a 2-1 loss to Bellevue at home last Saturday.
* Ten different players have scored goals for Southwestern Christian, led by three from Jose Castillo, a sophomore from Oklahoma City.
* Harding and Southwestern Oklahoma have only met once in men's soccer. The Eagles defeated the Bisons 4-0 last season in Bethany.
