SEARCY – Harding senior Gina Cielo won her 40th career singles match and the Lady Bison tennis team closed out the fall portion of its schedule with a 9-0 victory over Hendrix on Wednesday at the Harding Tennis Courts.

Cielo, a native of Lees Summit, Mo., became just the 21st Harding women's tennis player with 40 or more singles wins in her career with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 4. Cielo was the only Lady Bison to win all three of her fall singles matches.

Harding (2-1) cruised through the three doubles matches, losing only two games.

The six singles matches were equally lopsided. Harding's women won four of the matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
