HU Men's Tennis Continues Winning Streak

Corey Stumne teamed with Aldo Campos for an 8-6 victory at No. 1 doubles.

SEARCY – After a 12-day layoff for Spring Break, Harding's men's tennis team picked up where it left off with a 9-0 victory over LeMoyne-Owen on Tuesday at the Harding Tennis Courts.

It was Harding's sixth straight victory, as the Bisons improved to 12-1 overall.

LeMoyne-Owen had only five eligible players, so the Magicians defaulted at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

Harding won the two remaining doubles matches with Coey Stumne and Aldo Campos combining to win 8-6 at No. 1 doubles. The duo is 2-0 in doubles action. Ben Bradley and Anthony Saegert teamed for the first time this season and won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles.

Harding also won the five remaining singles matches. The most competitive match came at No. 2, where Harding's Aldo Campos won in three sets over Greg Hill. Germans Uglovs won in straight sets in his first career match at No. 1 singles.

Anthony Saegert won his first singles match this season at No.3.

Harding is back in action Friday against John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark.
