SEARCY – The Harding men's soccer team opens the 2011 on Thursday against Lynn University at the Harding Soccer Field. The game begins at 7 p.m. Live video of the game and live stats will be available on HardingSports.com.

* Thursday's game will be the first game as head coach for Harding's Jeremy Bishop, who spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Central Arkansas. Lynn is coached by John Rootes, who is in his fourth season with the Fighting Knights.
* Harding was 2-14-0 last season. Lynn was 8-8-0.
* Harding will be looking for its first win in a season opener since a 5-2 victory over Williams Baptist in 2000.
* Harding will be seeking its first home win since a 2-1 victory over Delta State on Oct. 9, 2009.
* Lynn holds a 6-0 lead in the series with Harding. Lynn won the last meeting 5-3 in Searcy in 2009.
