SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – John Brown sophomore midfielder Luke Theimer scored in the 87th minute to five the Eagles a 1-0 victory over Harding in men's soccer action Tuesday.

The game was the final game of a four-game road trip for Harding (3-4-1), who returns to Searcy to meet Lyon College on Thursday.

Harding had 13 shots in the game, but managed only two shots on-goal, one in each half from Cameron Rose and Jona Amssoms.

John Brown (2-5-0) won its second straight game by a 1-0 score after losing its first five games of the season. The Eagles' victory tied the all-time series with Harding at 2-2.

Senior goalkeeper Zach Auala had five saves for Harding. Pablo Garcia had two in picking up his second straight shutout for John Brown.
