Box Score MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Harding baseball scored twice in its game Sunday against Southern Arkansas after being shut out twice Saturday, but it was not enough as the Muleriders swept the Bisons with a 4-2 victory in game three.
Harding (18-11, 3-6 Great American Conference) suffered its fifth straight loss and are sixth in the conference standings. Southern Arkansas (18-10, 8-4) won its sixth straight and are second in the GAC.

Lucas Waddell (3-2) started and pitched 6 1/3 innings. He allowed eight hits and four earned runs, walking three and striking out two in the loss.
Junior Cory Roper (2-1) made his first start of the season and earned the win for Southern Arkansas. He went 7 2/3 and yielded four hits and two earned runs. Junior Justin Thomas earned his fourth save by pitching a scoreless 1 1/3 innings of relief.
Harding had just four hits in the game—two from Ninemire and one each from Guglielmi and Fyock.
The Bisons are not scheduled to play again until next Saturday when they host Henderson State in GAC action. The teams will play a doubleheader at noon and a single game Sunday at 1 p.m. at Jerry Moore Field.
