SEARCY – Harding men's tennis won its 18th straight match to open the season Monday with a 9-0 victory over LeMoyne-Owen at the Harding Tennis Courts.

With the victory, Harding improved to 6-0 in South Central Region play and 5-0 at home.

LeMoyne-Owen had only five players and defaulted at No. 3 doubles and No. 1 singles.

Harding won the remaining two doubles matches with Adam Edwards and Caleb McReynolds winning at No. 1 and German Uglovs and Aldo Campos victorious at No. 2.  Edwards and McReynolds have won both matches they have played together this season, and Uglovs and Campos improved to 6-0 as a duo.

Harding also won all five remaining singles matches. McReynolds moved to 5-0 in singles with a victory at No. 1. Alex Ford's victory at No. 2 gave him an 8-4 singles mark. Campos is now 4-0 in singles, and Forrest Hickey remained unbeaten at 3-0 with a victory at No. 5.
The Bisons are back in action Tuesday at home against NCAA Division I Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
