FORT SMITH, Ark. – The Harding women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Arkansas-Fort Smith on Tuesday in its final action of the fall season.

The Lady Bisons participated in two tournaments and went 1-1 in dual matches.

Harding's lone point against Arkansas-Fort Smith came at No. 3 singles where Benyapa Phumtip defeated Amy Belanger 6-3, 6-1. Both Ali Rowden (No. 2) and Arielle Butler (No. 5) lost in three sets, and Piper Huey dropped a very tight 7-5, 7-6 match at No. 1.
