MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Harding women's tennis team opened the 2013-14 dual match season with a 9-0 victory over NCAA Division III opponent Rhodes College on Wednesday.
Harding swept the three doubles matches and won all six singles matches to give new head coach Marco Ruiz his first dual match victory.
Freshmen Piper Huey, Lauren Doversola and Arielle Butler all made their Harding dual match debuts against Rhodes.
Harding will be back in action Saturday at the Central Arkansas Invitational, an individual singles and doubles tournament in Conway, Ark.
