ST. CHARLES, Mo. - In a matchup of regionally-ranked and nationally-ranked teams, 39th-ranked Harding lost 5-2 to 49th-ranked Lindenwood (MO) on Tuesday.

Harding dropped to 4-2 overall and plays 30th-ranked Southwest Baptist on Friday in Bolivar, Mo. Lindenwood (MO) improved to 3-1.

Harding's two points both came in doubles. Mathaus Spiering and Jon Mark Rowden won 8-3 at No. 1 doubles over Andrei Masin and Johnannes Rabenhorst, the No. 4-ranked doubles team in the Central Region.

Yann Le Mat and Brandon Hogland improved to 3-1 in doubles with an 8-6 victory at No. 2.

Spiering had his nine-match winning streak snapped at No. 1 singles, falling in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 to Andrei Masin, ranked 11th in singles in the Central Region.
