BOLIVAR, Mo. - Harding women's tennis dropped a 5-1 decision to No. 33 Southwest Baptist on Friday.
The Lady Bisons fell to 5-4 overall and play against No. 25 Drury on Saturday at noon. Southwest Baptist won its fifth straight and moved to 5-1.
Harding earned its point at No. 3 doubles, where freshman
Lauren Doversola and freshman
Arielle Butler defeated Andjela Panovski and Paula Carvajalino 8-4. It was the first time this season that Doversola and Butler played together in doubles.
Harding battled in the three singles matches that were completed. Two of the three matches went three sets. The other three singles matches were not contested after Southwest Baptist reached five points.
