CONWAY, Ark. – The Harding women's tennis team opened its spring season with a convincing 9-0 victory over NCAA Division III foe Hendrix on Thursday at the Hendrix Indoor Tennis Center.

Harding, ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Division II Central Region, improved to 2-1 overall. The Lady Bisons lost only three games in doubles and had at least one 6-0 set in five of the six singles victories.

Hendrix fell to 1-1 with the loss.

The Lady Bisons will take a couple of steps up in competition Saturday when they return to Conway to take on NCAA Division I opponent Central Arkansas.
