Match Notes

Harding plays its second match in three days when it takes on NCAA Division I foe Central Arkansas. The Lady Bisons opened the spring with a 9-0 victory over Hendrix on Thursday.

Harding is 2-1 overall and will be playing its fourth consecutive road match.

Harding is ranked ninth in the NCAA Division II Central Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Harding's Benyapa Phumtip is ranked ninth in the Central Region in singles. Phumtip defeated Lauren Mahaney of Hendrix 6-2, 6-1 on Thursday for her 40th career singles victory.

Including tournament matches, Harding has a 36-26 record in singles matches and 13-11 in doubles.

Harding used three doubles pairings playing together for the first time this season against Hendrix. Piper Huey and Phumtip teamed at No. 1 with Lauren Doversola and Kaleigh Wagner at No. 2 and Katie Huff and Ali Rowden at No. 3.

Central Arkansas is a member of the NCAA Division I Southland Conference.

Central Arkansas will be playing its first match of the spring vs. Harding.
