Baseball Bisons Fall 2-0 at Ouachita Baptist in Pitchers' Duel

Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Harding's Cameron Walker and Ouachita Baptist's Davis Ward both pitched complete games Friday as Ouachita Baptist squeezed past Harding 2-0 in the first game of a three-game Great American Conference series.

Harding (24-18, 14-11) remained in fourth place with the loss but is only one-half game ahead of fifth-place East Central. Ouachita Baptist (21-24, 13-12) is in sixth place but only one-half game back of East Central and one game behind Harding.

Walker (3-8) allowed the leadoff batter to reach and come around to score in both the first and fourth innings and suffered the loss. He pitched eight innings and gave up six hits, walked two and struck out six.

Ward (8-3) did not allow a Harding runner to reach third base. He gave up six singles, walked none and struck out eight.

Trent Wooldridge and Victor Guerra had two hits each to lead Harding.
